Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform full-service tax return preparation and provide expert tax advice at a TurboTax location. You will collaborate with specialists to cover business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services, delivering a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience.

You will build community presence, attract new clients, and nurture long-term relationships while educating clients on Intuit solutions.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Drive local growth and build a local client base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to address needs.
• Develop relationships and deliver end-to-end Intuit experience in client meetings, both in-person and virtual.
• Create a trusted local presence and grow the TurboTax market share.
