Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is seeking a Host to warmly greet guests, seat parties, manage reservations, and deliver menu knowledge to ensure an exceptional first impression. The role requires strong hospitality skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Applicants should be fluent in English, able to stand for extended periods, and possess prior guest-service experience. Spanish is a plus. PT/FT opportunities with flexible weekend hours are available.

Competenze

• Previous experience in fast-paced Food & Beverage environment or related work experience.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Good communication skills are a necessity.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and work authorization in the United States is necessary.
• Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.

Host – PT/FT Tavernetta Vail

Four Seasons Vail and James Beard Award winners Frasca Hospitality Group, led by Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson, Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, and Peter Hoglund, have collaborated to create Tavernetta Vail. Part of the Frasca Hospitality Group, home to the Michelin-starred Frasca Food and Wine, Tavernetta Denver is recognized with a Michelin Bib Gourmand and is known for its genuine hospitality and authentic Italian fare.

The group has expanded to include the Italian and European inspired eateries of Pizzeria Alberico and Sunday Vinyl and seek to continue this dedication to providing warm and gracious hospitality with the opening of Tavernetta Vail at the Four Seasons Resort by hiring enthusiastic, ambitious, and humble staff to uphold a culture of excellence, education, and respect.

About the role:

The Host is the guest’s first impression of the restaurant, with knowledge of seating chart, reservation system, menus, and guest preferences.

What you will do:

• Responsible for greeting and seating guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
• This position will also be responsible for answering the phones, confirming reservations and making new reservations.
• This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
• This position must be adaptable as they may be asked to work in any of the F&B outlets at the property as needed.

What you bring:

• Previous experience in fast paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a part-time or full-time position.
