Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is seeking an In Room Dining Server. You will deliver food orders to guest rooms, ensuring quality and timeliness, while assisting with amenities and guest requests.

The role emphasizes friendly guest interactions and adherence to safety and sanitation standards in a luxury hotel setting. The position requires at least 1 year in food service, 18+ years old, computer literacy, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of food service experience; hotel setting preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older per Colorado state law.
• Must have working knowledge of computers.
• Accurate and efficient communication for guest facing role.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Fluency in English required; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guest rooms promptly and with a friendly attitude.
• Check orders with the order taker or guest order for accuracy and completeness.
• Transport items to guest rooms while preserving food quality.
• Set up carts and guest amenities; communicate with staff as needed.
• Work harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors; anticipate guest needs.

In Room Dining Server

About the role:

The In Room Dining Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. This position is responsible for delivery of food orders including any amenities, special needs or requests to the guest room. The In Room Dining Server will check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order and transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.

What you will do:

• Responsible for delivery of food orders in a timely manner while exuding a friendly and welcoming attitude in all guest interactions.
• Ensure proper food quality and set-up for service while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
• Assist in setting up carts and guest amenities while communicating to staff, guests and kitchen as needed.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Anticipate guest needs and communicate any requests through the proper channels.

What you bring:

• Minimum of one year of food service or related work, prior experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Must be 18 years old or older per Colorado State Law.
• Must have working knowledge of computers.
• Accurate and efficient communication required for guest facing role.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and possess the ability to work autonomously.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
