Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for a Sales Ambassador to engage customers with product sampling and help prepare and serve food using induction cooktops, to drive sales and introduce new products. You’ll coordinate event activities, manage samples, and ensure food safety while meeting store goals.

The role requires high energy, strong communication, and the ability to learn quickly. A high school diploma and willingness to work evenings/weekends are expected as Sprouts emphasizes customer

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts product
• Thrives on customer engagement
• Ability to suggestively sell product
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to follow cooking directions
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours
• Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office

• Intermediate level computer skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
• Event setup and takedown
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base
