Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Sales Ambassador to engage customers and promote healthy living through hands-on product sampling and friendly service. You’ll help guests discover new items, explain benefits, and drive enthusiasm at the tasting station in a fast-paced store setting.

The role emphasizes a strong customer-service mindset, ability to perform food prep under guidance, and collaboration with store teams to meet daily sales goals and participate in events and promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts product.
• Thrives on customer engagement.
• Ability to suggestively sell product.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to follow cooking directions.
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.
• Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Results-oriented mindset.
• Problem solving skills.
• Intermediate level computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
• Event setup and takedown
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base.
