Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, sample products, and promote healthy options in a fast-paced store environment. You will prepare food demonstrations, assist with event activities, and help meet sales goals while upholding food safety standards.

The role requires excellent communication, energy, and a passion for Sprouts products, with opportunities for growth and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Energetic with a passion for Sprouts products.
• Thrives on customer engagement.
• Ability to suggestively sell product.
• Willingness to learn and grow; ability to follow cooking directions.
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.
• Experience in customer service, sales, marketing or event planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Results-oriented mindset.
• Problem solving skills.
• Intermediate level computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
• Coordinating all event activities, including: Event setup and takedown; Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings; Managing sample supply and sample product inventory; Preparing event recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program specific equipment; Adhering to strict food safety guidelines; Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base.
