Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Tapping Machine Operator in Indiana for the 2nd shift, with first-shift training. You will start machines, gauge parts, and record data while moving tubs with a pallet jack. A 5% shift differential applies to the hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Mathematical ability and practical application of percentages and ratios.
• Reading and writing, effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Start machine and observe operation, making adjustments as needed.
• Gauge and check parts for each catch pan, ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Record and plot on SPC charts.
• Record production on daily sheet.
• Operate PIV and electric pallet jack to move tubs and load machines.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
