Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Montpelier, IN, is seeking a Tapping Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) with training on the 1st shift. Base pay is $22.60 per hour plus a 5% shift differential. • Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Math skills for percentages and ratios.
• Physical ability to lift and move weights described in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Starts machine and observes operation, making adjustments as needed.
• Gauging and checking parts for conformance to specifications.
• Record and plot on SPC charts
• Record production on daily sheet
• Operate PIV and electric pallet jack to move tubs and load machines
• Must be able to work overtime
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
