Beach Bum Tanning is seeking energetic Tanning Consultants to help clients look and feel their best in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will guide clients through tanning options, explain the process, and work to meet sales goals while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing, and passionate about tanning and beauty.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in customer service or sales preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable standing and being on their feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
• Evaluate skin types and recommend tanning equipment, products, and safety guidelines.
• Explain the tanning process, answer questions, ensure customers feel informed.
• Maintain clean, stocked tanning rooms and common areas.
• Recommending and selling lotions and retail products based on client needs.
• Meet or surpass sales goals while delivering excellent customer service.
• Build client relationships and encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain accurate client records including preferences and tanning history.
• Open and close the salon according to company standards.
• Complete daily inventory reports.

Key Responsibilities
