Beach Bum Tanning & Airbrush Salon in Huntington Station, NY is hiring Tanning Consultants to guide clients through tanning options and ensure memorable visits. You’ll welcome clients, assess skin types, recommend equipment and products, and help meet sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service.

We offer full-time and part-time roles, a fun, fast-paced environment, and opportunities for advancement. Must be energetic, reliable, and able to work evenings and weekends.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ years old.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in customer service or sales preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Welcoming clients and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
• Evaluating skin types and recommending equipment, products, and safety guidelines.
• Explaining the tanning process clearly and addressing questions.
• Keeping tanning rooms and common areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Recommending and selling lotions and retail products based on client needs.
• Consistently meeting or surpassing sales goals while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Building strong client relationships and encouraging repeat visits.
• Maintaining accurate client records, including preferences and tanning history.
• Opening and closing the salon according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who are:

• Positive, outgoing, and passionate about the tanning and beauty industry
• High school graduates (or equivalent)
• At least 18 years old
• Strong communicators, both verbally and in writing
• Experienced in customer service or sales (preferred)
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Comfortable standing, bending, and being on their feet for extended periods

Experience

• Sales: 1 year
• Customer Service: 1 year
