Job summary

Beach Bum Tanning is hiring a Tanning Consultant to help clients select tanning options, explain the process, and ensure a positive visit. You will maintain clean rooms, stock supplies, and drive product sales in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

We seek friendly, motivated individuals with strong communication skills who can work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with discounts, advancement potential, and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing, and passionate about tanning and beauty industry.
• High school graduates (or equivalent).
• At least 18 years old.
• Strong communicators, both verbally and in writing.
• Experienced in customer service or sales (preferred).
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and being on their feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
• Evaluating skin types and recommending the most suitable tanning equipment, products, and safety guidelines.
• Explaining the tanning process clearly, answering questions, and ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed.
• Keeping tanning rooms and common areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Recommending and selling lotions and retail products based on client needs.
• Consistently meeting or surpassing sales goals while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Building strong client relationships and encouraging repeat visits.
• Maintaining accurate client records, including preferences and tanning history.
• Opening and closing the salon according to company standards.
• Completing daily inventory reports.
