Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. is seeking a Tanker Driver to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, LP, etc., safely to multiple locations. Reports to the Director of Operations.

The role requires a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and the capacity to climb up to 15 ft. Expect adherence to DOT rules and accurate paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to climb up to 15 ft.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer/delivery truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle.
• Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports.
• Comply with Department of Transportation regulations for operating a CMV, transporting hazardous material and emergency response.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of Operations

Basic Function:

A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.

Essential Functions

• Drive tractor trailer/delivery truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness
• Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.
• Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency

Qualifications

• a. 21 years of age; and
• b. Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement.
• c. Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
• d. Must be able to climb up to 15 ft
