Job summary

BFS Foods in Waynesburg, PA is seeking a Tanker Driver to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, LP and related products to various locations, with safety and efficiency as top priorities. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, handle required paperwork, and comply with DOT regulations including hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Reports to the Director of Operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Waynesburg.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 15 ft.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer/delivery truck to locations safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Complete required shipping papers and duty reports.

Basic Function

A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.

Essential Functions

• Drive tractor trailer/delivery truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness
• Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.
• Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency
• Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned

Qualifications

• 21 years of age
• Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to climb up to 15 ft
