Job summary

BFS Foods is seeking a Tanker Driver based in Mount Pleasant, PA area. You will deliver fuel oil, gasoline, LP, and related products to various locations, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

The role requires a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and capability to climb up to 15 ft. You will report to the Director of Operations and handle essential paperwork daily.

Qualifications

• CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to climb up to 15 ft.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer/delivery truck to locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers and hours of duty reports.
• Adhere to DOT regulations for operating a commercial motor vehicle and handling hazardous materials.

Basic Function

A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.

Essential Functions

• Drive tractor trailer/delivery truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner


• Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness


• Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.


• Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency

Qualifications

• a. 21 years of age; and


• b. Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement.


• c. Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.


• d. Must be able to climb up to 15 ft
