Job summary

Depot Connect International in Williston, ND is seeking a DOT-certified trailer mechanic with 1+ year of tank trailer repair experience to join our field team. You will diagnose, repair, and service tank trailers ensuring DOT HM183/hazmat compliance.

Shift hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $45.00 per hour, with skill-based reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified is required.
• 1+ year of tank trailer repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical failures.
• Tank service and repair experience.
• Trailer suspension installation and repair experience.
• Experience with air brake systems.
• TIG welding experience (optional).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other tank trailer systems.
• Perform tank service and repair tasks.
• Install and repair trailer suspension.
• Work on air brake systems and repairs.
• TIG welding as applicable.
• Inspect tanks and trailers to meet DOT HM183 standards.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 1 or more years of tank trailer repair experience for our Williston, ND Location! Address: 13552 Bassett Lane, Williston, ND.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $25.00 to $45.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
