Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full-time Tank Builder/Welder to support our nationwide operations. Responsibilities include arc cutting, welding of tanks and related structures, and working from detailed drawings while adhering to safety protocols.

Travel to project sites across the country is possible. We seek reliable, detail-oriented candidates with strong communication and problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Welding experience and ability to weld is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a team.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc cutting, torch cutting, gouging, and welding of tanks.
• Operate power tools, lifting equipment, and related industrial machinery.
• Read and interpret erection and fabrication drawings; plan welding sequences.
• Ensure safety protocols and quality standards on site and in shop environments.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete tank construction projects on time.
