Clear Concepts, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering and project controls for heavy civil highway and bridge projects across Florida.

This role targets candidates with 5–8 years in civil construction and a BS in Civil Engineering, ideally with a Construction Engineering and Management emphasis. You will own scheduling, cost tracking, and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams, while supporting monthly billing and change order processing.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in civil construction
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management emphasis preferred
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel and Word
• FDOT project experience is a plus
• HCSS HeavyJob experience is a plus

Responsabilités

• Review the contract and specifications in their entirety
• Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent on day to day project needs
• Prepare and update the project schedule in Primavera P6
• Track quantities, project costs and forecasting
• Get pricing from subcontractors and vendors, including change orders
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and crews to resolve field conflicts
• Support monthly billing, cash flow projections and change order processing
• Run document control for submittals, contract documents and record drawings
• Review HeavyJob daily reports for accuracy
• Keep NPDES permits, the SWPPP, inspections, survey staking and joint measurements with the owner on track
