Job summary

Alexander Associates is seeking a Land Development Project Manager in the Tampa market to lead a portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. You will oversee scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables across the full project life cycle, coordinating with municipalities, clients and external consultants.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and Florida PE license (or ability to obtain), with proven experience in land development, AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• FL Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in land or site development engineering.
• Experience managing civil engineering projects and teams.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater management.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage land and site development projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate grading, drainage, paving, utility and stormwater design.
• Lead and mentor civil engineers, designers and supporting staff.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with municipalities, review agencies and external consultants.
• Manage permitting and local approval processes.
• Review engineering plans, calculations, reports and specifications.
• Assist with proposals, client development and future project opportunities.
• Support the growth of the Florida operation.
