Job summary

Alexander Associates is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to join its Houston team. You will manage land and site development projects through planning and construction, coordinating grading, drainage, utilities and site design.

This role requires a Texas-licensed PE or ability to obtain one, plus experience leading engineers and coordinating with clients and agencies. The position supports growth of the Houston operation with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license in Texas, or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience in land or site development engineering.
• Experience managing Civil Engineering projects.
• Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and site design.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and client management skills.
• Existing knowledge of the Houston development market would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage land and site development projects from initial planning through construction
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and technical deliverables
• Coordinate the preparation of grading, drainage, utility and site development plans
• Lead and support engineers, designers and technical staff
• Liaise with clients, municipalities, review agencies and other project stakeholders
• Assist with proposals, client management and business development
• Complete technical reviews and maintain project quality standards
• Support the continued growth of the company’s Houston operation
