Job summary

Alexander Associates is recruiting a Land Development Project Manager for its Austin team to oversee residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments across the Greater Austin region.

Responsibilities include managing land development from planning through construction, coordinating grading, drainage, utilities, and collaborating with engineers, designers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Texas Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in land or site development engineering.
• Experience managing civil engineering projects and technical teams.
• Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater design.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage land and site development projects from initial planning through construction.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate the preparation of grading, drainage, paving and utility plans.
• Lead and support civil engineers, designers and technical staff.
• Liaise with clients, municipalities, review agencies and external consultants.
• Manage permitting, entitlement and approval processes.
• Review engineering plans, calculations, reports and specifications.
• Assist with proposals, client development and business-development activities.
• Maintain project quality and ensure work is completed to the required standards.
• Support the continued growth of the company’s Austin operation.
