Job summary

Alexander Associates is seeking a Land Development Project Manager in the Tampa market to lead a portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. You will oversee scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables across the full project life cycle, coordinating with municipalities, clients and external consultants.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and Florida PE license (or ability to obtain), with proven experience in land development, AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• FL Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in land or site development engineering.
• Experience managing civil engineering projects and teams.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater management.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage land and site development projects from concept through construction.

Alexander Associates are working with a growing civil engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Land Development Project Manager within the Tampa market.

The position will involve managing a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use development projects across the Tampa Bay region.

Salary: $115,000-$170,000, depending on experience.

Job Specifications:

• Manage land and site development projects from initial concept through construction
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables
• Coordinate grading, drainage, paving, utility and stormwater design
• Lead and mentor civil engineers, designers and supporting technical staff
• Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders
• Coordinate with municipalities, review agencies and external consultants

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Florida Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain one
• Previous land or site development engineering experience
• Experience managing civil engineering projects and project teams
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater management
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
• Strong organizational, communication and client-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of the Tampa Bay development market would be advantageous
