Job summary

The role involves managing land and site development from planning through construction, coordinating with municipalities and clients, and leading engineers and designers. A Civil Engineering degree and Virginia PE (or eligibility) are required, with experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Virginia PE license or ability to obtain one is required.
• Experience in land or site development engineering and project leadership is required.
• Familiarity with Virginia development regulations and approval processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage land and site development projects from planning through construction.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate grading, drainage, stormwater, utility and site design.
• Lead engineers, designers and supporting technical staff.
• Manage client communication and project expectations.
• Coordinate with municipalities, review agencies and external consultants.
• Review engineering plans, reports, calculations and specifications.
• Assist with proposals, client development and future project opportunities.
