Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director of Talent Management to drive business performance through comprehensive talent strategies. You will educate and consult with leaders and BHR on best practices to achieve talent outcomes for a dedicated client group.

You will lead a cross-functional Talent team, partner with stakeholders, and guide leadership in identifying top talent and building a strong succession pipeline. Strong communication and project leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree a plus.
• Demonstrated results in complex, matrix environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Talent team to implement comprehensive talent strategy for key roles.
• Partner with BHR and stakeholders to align talent and development with AbbVie strategy.
• Coach leaders to identify top talent and build a deep pipeline of successors.
• Oversee Performance Management and Talent Reviews and train teams on these practices.
