Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Washington, DC is seeking a Talent Services Generalist to support HR functions across onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and compliance. The role is based in-office and reports to the Talent Services Senior Manager.

You will partner with attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality HR support, manage confidential information, and help administer talent programs while maintaining accuracy in HRIS records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or a related field.
• SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR certification a plus.
• Minimum of five years of experience in human resources, big law firm experience preferred.
• General knowledge of HR principles and practices, as well as employment law compliance.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for attorneys and staff.
• Provide HR policy guidance and respond to employee inquiries.
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS (Workday).
• Support benefits administration and annual enrollment.
• Assist with performance reviews and disciplinary processes.
• Support recruitment of professional staff.
• Assist with HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
