Job summary

Datadog, a leading observability platform, is hiring a Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for General & Administrative roles. You will be the face of recruiting, first contact for candidates, and a storyteller of the Datadog value.

This hybrid Boston-based role requires 2–5 years in full-cycle recruiting, strong sourcing, and negotiation skills. You’ll partner with leadership to design interview processes, ensure an excellent candidate experience, and drive scalable hiring.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in full-cycle recruiting, in-house or staffing agency environment.
• Sourcing master with ability to identify where top talent lives.
• Autonomous and able to manage multiple positions simultaneously.
• Strong at selling value proposition, negotiating and closing candidates.
• Urgency and adaptability in a changing recruiting process.

Responsibilities

• Find qualified talent for open roles via sourcing, job posts, referrals, and agencies
• Screen candidates to ensure qualifications match roles
• Collaborate with leadership to design or streamline interview processes
• Ensure follow-up and closure for all interviewed candidates
• Negotiate compensation with qualified candidates
• Enhance recruitment processes through training interview teams
• Leverage Greenhouse to track candidate progress and maintain data quality
• Ensure candidates have an excellent interview experience regardless of outcome
