Job summary

MassMEP seeks a Workforce Pipeline Specialist to support participants through intake, career planning, and skills assessment, aligning training with manufacturing needs.

You will connect job seekers with apprenticeships, coordinate interviews, and liaise between participants and employers while tracking progress in CRM systems and Salesforce. Occasional travel within Massachusetts may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in workforce development, case management, career services, job placement, or job development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn CRM and workforce systems.
• Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and have a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized participant support, including intake, assessment of skills and career interests, and development of a career plan.
• Identify transferable skills and training pathways using labor-market tools like O*NET Online.
• Help participants prepare for employment through resume and interview support.
• Match participants with employment, apprenticeships, internships, and work-based learning.
• Coordinate interviews, hiring activities, and onboarding; act as liaison between participants and employers.
• Follow up with participants and employers to support retention and career advancement.
• Conduct proactive outreach to manufacturing employers to build a job-pipeline.
