Job summary

Wellesley Family Care, Needham, MA, is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources & Recruiting Manager to oversee HR and recruiting operations, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and employee records with a focus on compliance and excellent employee support.

The role involves coordinating full-cycle recruiting, developing job descriptions, maintaining a robust candidate pipeline, and partnering with leadership on HR initiatives. Strong communication and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field preferred but not required; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 2–3 years of human resources and recruiting experience with ability to independently manage day-to-day HR and recruiting responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of recruiting, employee benefits, leave administration, employee relations support, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR and recruiting administration with focus on recruiting, onboarding, and benefits enrollment.
• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records, databases, and HR documentation with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage benefits enrollments, FSA, DCFSA, COBRA, and leave administration (FMLA).
• Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and maintain an active recruiting pipeline.
• Support HR policies, compliance questions, and employee relations in partnership with leadership.
