Job summary

Kaizen is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to own interview scheduling, onsite hosting, and candidate experience in a fast-growing startup environment.

You’ll work closely with the recruiting team, learn end-to-end hiring, and help scale our process as we grow from 35 to 60 people this year. This is a 3-6 month contract with a path to extension or full-time based on performance and goals.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent ops, executive/administrative support, customer-facing work, or another high-volume operations role.
• Real calendar management skills: ability to schedule a 4-person panel across busy schedules.
• Obessive attention to detail, especially with candidate data and communications.
• Genuine warmth hosting people in person; hosting candidates onsite is core to the job.
• High ownership and bias toward action: fix what’s broken and don’t wait to be told.

Responsibilities

• Own interview scheduling end to end: multi-interviewer panels, confirmations, reschedules, and debriefs.
• Host candidates onsite: greet them, keep loops running on time, and leave a strong impression of Kaizen.
• Deliver a white-glove candidate experience from first schedule through offer logistics.
• Keep ATS data clean and trustworthy: update stages, postings across platforms.
• Prep interviewers with plans and scorecards to ensure structured loops and fast debriefs.
• Pitch in on sourcing and shadow the recruiting team as you ramp.
• Find and fix manual, repetitive work in the recruiting process and explore AI automation.
