The Applied Research Laboratory at the Pennsylvania State University is seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to support internships and professional hiring across the U.S. The role blends on-site and remote work in a hybrid model based in State College, PA, and involves coordinating both virtual and in-person events.

You will manage event inventory, assemble kits, serve as the point of contact for the talent acquisition software, and assist the HR team through the recruiting process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher; 2+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment with strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems using proper steps to reach a solution
• Past experience handling multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support virtual and in-person career events for internships and professional hiring across the U.S.
• Manage event inventory (displays, giveaways, electronic supplies)
• Pack and unpack event kits
• Serve as the point of contact for ARL’s talent acquisition software
• Support the ARL Talent Acquisition team throughout the recruiting and hiring process
