Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University’s Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) in State College, PA is seeking a part-time HR events support role to coordinate and deliver career events, including virtual and hybrid locations. Hybrid work setup, about 15–20 hours per week.

ARL is a DoD SkillBridge partner; you will manage event logistics, inventory, and updates to the Yello ATS, while supporting the recruiting process. Background in events and strong MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• 2+ years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Register, manage, assist, and participate in the delivery of in-person and virtual career events, conferences, symposiums, and other events, including packing and unpacking event kits.
• Register, manage, assist, and participate in the delivery of in-person and virtual college and university student career events, seminars, symposiums, and themed events, including packing and unpacking event kits.
• Maintain inventory and order event supplies, ensuring ARL is fiscally conscious; research, obtain quotes, purchase, and/or recommend materials, equipment, and giveaways following ARL and Penn State policies and guidelines
• Act as point of contact, supporting updates and maintenance of ARL's talent acquisition software, Yello
• Assist the ARL Talent Acquisition team in other areas of the recruiting and hiring process
