The Applied Research Laboratory at the Pennsylvania State University is seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to support internships and professional hiring across the U.S. The role blends on-site and remote work in a hybrid model based in State College, PA, and involves coordinating both virtual and in-person events.
You will manage event inventory, assemble kits, serve as the point of contact for the talent acquisition software, and assist the HR team through the recruiting process.
Your working location will be a hybrid of on-site/work from home, project-dependent, located in State College, PA. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday with flexibility, averaging 15-20 hours/week. Additional hours may be required prior to the fall and spring semesters.

In this role, you will coordinate and support virtual and in‑person career events for internships and professional hiring across the U.S. Responsibilities include managing event inventory (displays, giveaways, electronic supplies), packing and unpacking event kits, serving as the point of contact for ARL’s talent acquisition software, and supporting the ARL Talent Acquisition team throughout the recruiting and hiring process.
