Job summary

Chartis is seeking a Director of Talent Development to lead strategic talent development initiatives, partnering with the Professional Services Team to align programs with business goals. Reporting to the AVP of Talent Development, you will design and execute talent programs that support career growth, organizational effectiveness, and business alignment.

This role emphasizes people analytics, leadership development, and collaboration with enterprise architecture to enable data-driven decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in talent development, people operations, or HR.
• Experience with people analytics, data-driven decision-making, and translating data into insights.
• Experience in professional services, management consulting, or similar environments.
• Proven ability to design and implement talent development programs including leadership development and performance management.
• Strong strategic thinker with ability to link talent development to business outcomes.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive process improvements; strong PM and systems thinking.
• Experience leading teams and influencing senior leaders to gain buy-in.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of high-impact talent development initiatives (onboarding, engagement, leadership, mentoring).
• Build relationships with PST leadership to understand development needs and coach managers on performance and team dynamics.
• Guide performance management processes for PST in collaboration with calibration committees.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to design and improve talent systems and data quality for decision making.
• Analyze talent trends, forecast needs, and recommend investments and priorities.
• Collaborate with recruiting, learning, finance, and talent operations to align with people strategy.
• Develop and mentor the talent development team and promote data literacy and strategic thinking.
• Demonstrate commitment to DEIB tenets in daily interactions.
