Job summary

A leading hospitality recruitment firm is seeking a mid-senior level Talent Consultant to manage executive-level searches in New York. You will be responsible for guiding the full recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience while advising clients on talent acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in recruitment leadership and strong relationship-building skills, with competitive compensation packages offered, including healthcare and retirement options.

This range is provided by Empowered Hospitality. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

As a member of Empowered Hospitality’s Talent team, you will support a high volume of hourly, management and executive-level searches, using best-in-class recruiting practices and delivering an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish. You’ll work in close partnership with our Client Services team—who lead the client relationship—while you focus on identifying, engaging, and supporting top-tier talent throughout the recruitment process.

Core Competencies

• Sourcing, screening and selecting high-quality candidates to fit each client’s unique needs and culture
• Leading, inspiring and influencing team members and clients
• Introducing innovative solutions and leading practices to enhance E|H’s overall recruiting effectiveness
• Cultivating candidate and client relationships to build robust talent and business development pipelines

Responsibilities

• Executing the full recruiting lifecycle for key leadership roles
• Assessing client needs and advising on talent acquisition and retention strategy
• Developing talent acquisition processes, tools and practices to increase our team’s overall impact
• Delivering trainings to enhance the recruiting capabilities of E|H employees and client leaders
• Providing regular client status reports and attending client meetings to review progress, answer questions, and discuss opportunities
• Proactively escalating potential concerns or issues to E|H leadership
• Nurturing relationships to expand E|H’s network, strengthen our brand, and identify prospective candidates and clients

Experience & Education

• Prior experience in a recruiting leadership role demonstrating strategic thinking, executive-level communication and strong relationship management skills
• Prior experience in hospitality management preferred
• Experience building, leading and developing high-functioning teams
• Strong MS office skills, business communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree required; human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
