Job summary

Gusto seeks a talent product leader to architect the enterprise capability framework and manage the full lifecycle of learning solutions—from discovery to scaling—across individual contributor and leadership tracks. You will shape an AI-forward capability engine and define a taxonomy powering modular content.

You will partner with HR leaders to diagnose capability gaps, prioritize strategic investments, and translate data into scalable, high-impact learning standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Talent Development, Learning Architecture, Technical Instructional Design, or Organizational Design.
• Ability to establish vision and guide policy development for agile solutions in real-time amidst changing landscapes.
• Strong cross-functional fluency to translate complex data into capability priorities with HR partners and executives.
• Expertise in modular architecture and content tagging to keep learning evergreen, searchable, and adaptable.
• Passion for leveraging AI/automation to speed up learning design and production pipelines.
• Experience designing and integrating content across LMS/LXP platforms and internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Define the product roadmap for the capability framework and manage it as a live product across roles.
• Collaborate with content designers to build and ship blended learning experiences, iterating based on feedback.
• Set the strategic vision for core enablement programs using a hub-and-spoke model and scale blended learning.
• Own the architecture for modular content and governance, including tagging and updates.
• Partner with HR and executives to diagnose capability gaps and align investments with business goals.
• Write requirements with People Technology teams to productize learning experiences within HR systems.
