Job summary

Gong is building a revolutionary talent operations platform. This role focuses on unifying disparate systems, designing a governed data layer, and delivering AI-powered workflows that give recruiters and hiring managers real-time visibility, speed, and quality across the recruiting lifecycle.

You will ship autonomous solutions, define build-vs-buy strategies, and enable self-serve pipeline status for leadership and recruiters, with a strong emphasis on data governance and security.

Qualifications

• Real experience building solutions that integrate with external systems — APIs, OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, error handling in production.
• Strong scripting/backend skills (Python or TypeScript/Node).
• SQL proficiency — comfortable joining and querying data across systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and tool/function-calling patterns; MCP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unify our systems and make them useful by connecting Workday, Greenhouse, Gem, and BrightHire.
• Build the talent intelligence repository with governed data and proper permissions.
• Create agentic solutions across the hiring lifecycle and related metrics.
• Own outbound sourcing and run experiments to improve response and acceptance rates.
