Job summary

Gong is seeking a builder to create AI-powered talent automation that unifies disparate HR systems and enables recruiters and hiring managers to see and act on insights across the hiring lifecycle.

You will design and ship automated workflows, dashboards, and governance around data, with a focus on scalability and minimal human intervention. Prior recruiting ops experience is useful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience building solutions that integrate with external systems using APIs, OAuth, and webhooks.
• Strong scripting/backend skills (Python or TypeScript/Node).
• SQL proficiency for cross-system data joins and queries.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and tool-calling patterns; MCP is a plus.
• Sound permissions and access-control design mindset.

Responsibilities

• Unify our systems and make them useful by connecting Workday, Greenhouse, Gem, and BrightHire.
• Build the talent intelligence repository as a governed data layer for AI tooling.
