Job summary

Gong seeks a skilled builder to construct and maintain the automation layer for talent acquisition. You will integrate Workday, ATS, sourcing tools, and interview intelligence to provide real-time visibility across hiring workflows.

This role emphasizes governance, data context, and scalable automation in a rapidly evolving recruitment tech stack. You will design experiments, manage permissions, and partner with People Analytics and IT to shape a robust talent tech platform.

Qualifications

• Experience building integrations across systems using APIs, OAuth, and webhooks.
• Strong scripting/back-end skills in Python or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with LLM APIs and tool-calling patterns.
• Experience designing structured experiments (A/B or multivariate).

Responsibilities

• Unify our HR systems and build automated workflows.
• Create a governed talent data and context layer for AI tools.
• Develop agentic solutions across the hiring lifecycle, including reporting and bottleneck visibility.
• Lead build-vs-buy evaluations for talent tech stack with IT and analytics teams.
• Own outbound sourcing experiments and measure conversion rates to improve performance.
• Collaborate with People Analytics, HRIS, and IT to ensure governance and integration alignment.
