RISE Modular in Minnesota is seeking a Recruiter & Employee Engagement Partner to join our People Operations team. This role blends traditional recruiting with efforts to elevate the employee experience across Owatonna and Plymouth, with time spent on the factory floor and in communities.
You’ll own full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, build talent pipelines, partner with managers, and develop community partnerships.
RISE Modular is changing the way buildings are built, and we're growing the team that makes it possible.
We're looking for a Recruiter & Employee Engagement Partner to join our People Operations team. This isn't a traditional recruiting role where you'll spend your entire day behind a computer filling requisitions.
Yes, you'll recruit — everything from skilled trades and production employees to supervisors, technical professionals and corporate positions. But you'll also play an important role in building the employee experience at RISE.
You’ll spend time in our Owatonna manufacturing facility getting to know our employees, partnering with leaders and finding new ways to connect RISE with the communities where we live and work.
If you love recruiting but also believe the best People teams should be visible, approachable and connected to their employees, this could be a great fit.
Own full-cycle recruiting for a diverse mix of hourly and salaried positions across RISE.
You’ll:
Help make RISE a recognized employer in the communities where we operate.
You’ll:
Recruiting people is only part of the job. We want them to feel connected once they're here.
You’ll partner with the People Operations team and leaders to:
We're less interested in finding someone who checks every HR box and more interested in finding someone who knows how to connect with people and get things done.
You may be a great fit if you have:
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who likes people.
Someone who enjoys walking the floor, talking with employees, attending a community event, calling a candidate, brainstorming a recruiting campaign and helping put together an employee event — sometimes all in the same week.
This role will have a strong presence at our Owatonna manufacturing facility and will also support recruiting and People initiatives at our Plymouth corporate office.
Regular presence in Owatonna is an important part of the role. Building relationships with our employees and leaders can't be done entirely from behind a screen.
Some travel between Owatonna, Plymouth and community events throughout the region should be expected.
We're building something different.
RISE Modular combines construction with advanced manufacturing to build large-scale modular projects in a safer, more controlled and more efficient environment.
And as RISE grows, we're equally focused on building the organization behind the buildings.
You’ll join a People Operations team with an opportunity to influence how we recruit, engage and connect with our employees — and you'll have plenty of room to bring your own ideas.
If you're looking for a highly structured recruiting job where every process has already been built, this probably isn't it.
If you like building, improving, experimenting and seeing the impact of your work firsthand, we'd like to meet you.
