Piper Companies is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing team supporting one biotechnology client in Silver Spring, MD. The role partners with hiring managers to attract top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

This role is hybrid 2-3 days per week in office. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruitment across life sciences, scheduling interviews, maintaining ATS records, and building pipelines for future roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or related field.
• Hands-on recruiting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment for life sciences, quality, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory, and corporate roles.
• Source and screen candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking events, and university partnerships.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Draft and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
• Communicate regularly with candidates regarding application status and next steps.
• Support offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding activities.

Piper Companies is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing Talent Acquisition team supporting one of our biotechnology clients in Silver Spring, MD. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers to identify, attract, and engage top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. *This role is hybrid 2-3 days per week in office*

• Support full-cycle recruitment activities for entry-level to mid-level positions within life sciences, quality, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory, and corporate functions.

• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

Qualifications of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• 2+years of experience working in HR, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or related field
• Must have previous hands on recruiting experience
• Life science/clinical research recruiting experience preferred, not required
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field

Compensation for the Corporate Recruiter:

• Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (through Cigna), 401k, Sick leave as required as by law
