Job summary

DirectPath Recruiting Services is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Human Resources team in Houston. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, proactively sourcing talent, building candidate pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to fill a diverse set of roles across industrial-focused operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple requisitions, and leverages ATS and Paycom to maintain candidate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR with full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Strong candidate sourcing skills and the ability to engage active and passive candidates.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and competitive hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), online recruiting platforms, and candidate management tools.
• Paycom Recruiting/ATS experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting within oil and gas, industrial services, transportation, manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% for recruiting events and company locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting: oversee posting, sourcing, interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Proactively source talent for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and set recruiting priorities.
• Build ongoing candidate networks to support current openings and future needs.
• Recruit across multiple functions including CDL and DOT-regulated roles and corporate professionals.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, requisitions, and ATS activity.
• Develop engaging, accurate, and compliant job postings.
• Expand sourcing channels with universities, technical schools, trade programs, and industry groups.
• Represent the organization professionally to strengthen its employer brand.
