Job summary

Brinkman Construction is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Fort Collins, CO. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, from posting roles to coordinating interviews and extending offers, while delivering a high level of service to leadership and hiring managers.

You’ll build a robust talent pipeline, collaborate with marketing on social media, and ensure onboarding is seamless for new hires, all while upholding EEO/ADA compliance and a strong candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or related field, or equivalent career certification/experience.
• 1-5 years’ hands-on career experience as an internal recruiter or staffing agency recruiter within a fast-paced organization.
• 1+ year of experience recruiting in AEC Industry preferred.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter module.
• Advanced knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding processes.
• Passionate connector of people with the right career opportunity.
• Strong social perceptiveness, emotional intelligence, and thoughtful awareness of others.
• Calm, easygoing, but energetic individual with strong and effective verbal and written communication skills with a broad range of personalities.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office products.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Develop a creative and comprehensive talent acquisition strategy engaging leadership, hiring managers and internal teams.
• Develop job postings for all posting platforms.
• Manage resumes and applications, communicating with applicants.
• Coordinate attendance at networking events, career fairs and external recruiting opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing on social media and career page information.
• Screen candidates for qualifications, history, training, and basic technical knowledge.
• Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers.
• Coach hiring managers on interviewing, candidate communications, offers, and negotiations.
• Manage offer letter process from creation to extension.
• Ensure smooth handoff of new hires to onboarding.
• Maintain knowledge of EEO and ADA guidelines and laws.
