Job summary

Brahms Construction is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full-cycle recruiting for a defined group of requisitions. You will source, screen, interview, evaluate candidates, and make offer recommendations while partnering with hiring managers to align staffing with business needs.

You’ll serve as an ambassador for our culture and employer brand, contribute to recruiting metrics, and help drive process improvements within a growing Midwest design-build organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Two or more (2+) years of full-cycle recruiting experience is required.
• Experience recruiting within the construction industry strongly preferred; healthcare is a plus.
• Familiarity with employment law is preferred; Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned requisitions including posting and optimizing job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and offer recommendations.
• Proactively source candidates through direct outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking events, industry groups, and social platforms.
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles and high-impact positions.
• Conduct phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit; advise hiring managers.
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and respond with tailored strategies.
• Collaborate with TA Manager and leaders to identify current and future staffing needs and proactive pipelines.
