Job summary

DP Electric, a 100% employee-owned contractor in the Southwest, seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, attract, and hire qualified professional, technical, and skilled staff. You will partner with hiring managers, oversee onboarding, manage the ATS, and help build a strong talent brand while ensuring compliance and a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or a closely related field.
Two (2) years of experience in recruitment, selection, and talent management activities, or a closely related field.
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
Experience in the construction industry preferred.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM Talent Acquisition credential preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs para-professional work in recruitment, selection, and onboarding qualified staff.
Collaborates with hiring departments to understand staffing needs and initiate recruitment and selection activities.
Prescreens, tests, interviews, and selects potential job candidates.
Collaborates with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending compensation, timing, and other work arrangements.
Oversees onboarding processes to enhance new hire experience and retention.
Maintains applicant tracking system, marketing collateral, job descriptions, and recruitment/selection records.
Establishes and maintains relationships with recruiting vendors; attends job fairs and other recruiting events.
Partners with marketing to update and maintain talent branding on web recruitment platforms and related systems.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and compliancy policies.
