Job summary

Corbin Consulting Engineers seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit for architectural, engineering and construction roles and to support Hillsboro operations onsite. You will partner with hiring managers and HR to build a robust talent pipeline, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews and onboarding.

The role requires 3+ years in recruitment, familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter/ZipRecruiter/Indeed, and a client‑focused, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years recruiting experience, agency recruiting preferred.
• Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Experience sourcing candidates using online job boards, social media, LinkedIn & online searches.
• Strong understanding of standard HR practices and fair employment practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, post and search for current and future needs with hiring managers and HR.
• Build and maintain a network to ensure a continuous talent pipeline.
• Coordinate and attend job fairs, community events, and recruitment events.
• Evaluate applicants using screening and assessment techniques.
• Maintain an up-to-date applicant tracking system.
• Make hiring recommendations with HR and managers.
• Source candidates via online boards, social media, industry networks.
• Engage with active and passive talent and connect them to opportunities.
• Prescreen candidates via phone, video, or in-person interviews.
• Schedule interviews with managers and stakeholders.
• Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees.
