Job summary

Envocore, LLC is seeking a Recruiting Specialist in Merrillville, IN to manage full-cycle recruiting across office, field, technical, and project-based roles. You will partner with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs, source and evaluate qualified candidates, coordinate compliant pre-employment steps, and deliver a professional candidate experience.

The role requires maintaining recruiting records, reporting on hiring activity, and developing productive relationships with staffing

Qualifications

• Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or a closely related HR role.
• Experience sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for multiple positions/locations.
• Knowledge of compliant hiring practices and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ATS/HRIS or similar recruiting tech.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and define requirements.
• Manage full recruiting lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.
• Develop diverse candidate sources through job boards, referrals, colleges, and networks.
• Conduct structured screens and interviews and document evaluations.
• Coordinate background checks, Form I-9, E-Verify, and other pre-employment steps.
• Prepare offers and communicate status and next steps to candidates.
• Maintain recruiting records in ATS and HR systems.
• Build relationships with external vendors and staffing partners.
