Job summary

The Indiana University Foundation is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner for a hybrid role in Bloomington, Indiana with occasional travel to Indianapolis. You will own end-to-end recruiting for every search, from opening the role through the final offer, partnering with hiring leaders and building a tailored recruitment strategy.

We seek a candidate with a strong customer-service mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple searches while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 2 years of HR experience, including talent acquisition.
• Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and hiring practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Job description

The Indiana University Foundation is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner for a hybrid role in Bloomington, Indiana with occasional travel to Indianapolis. This position supports a collaborative recruiting team within HR & Culture and focuses on delivering a high-quality candidate experience through 100% full-cycle recruiting for every search, from role opening through final offer.

Salary range is USD 60,000 to 65,000 per year. The team is looking for someone who brings a strong customer-service mindset, builds trusted relationships with hiring leaders and candidates, and partners closely to understand what each team needs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting for every search you run, from opening the role through the final offer.
• Partner with hiring leaders by getting curious about the work and team needs, and translating those insights into an effective recruiting approach.
• Build recruitment strategy tailored to each position.
• Write job postings that attract qualified candidates.
• Proactively source and engage candidates to build strong talent pipelines.
• Guide candidates and hiring managers through the interview process.
• Support offer close for strong hires.

Requirements

• Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and sound hiring practices.
• Demonstrated success cultivating, developing, and strengthening professional relationships, including candidate relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Collaborative working style and ability to work with many stakeholders at varying levels.
• Ability to appropriately articulate the mission and vision of Indiana University and the IU Foundation to attract potential candidates.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and searches simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field (required).
• Two years of human resources experience, including experience in talent acquisition (required).
• Experience executing a variety of sourcing techniques with strong relationship-building abilities (required).
• Combinations of related education and experience will be considered.
