Job summary

Indiana University Foundation (IUF) seeks a Talent Acquisition Partner to build and hire the teams that drive IU's impact. You will join a collaborative HR & Culture team and own the end-to-end recruiting process with strong emphasis on candidate experience and hiring manager partnerships.

You'll partner with leaders across IU's philanthropic and alumni engagement teams, write compelling postings, utilize sourcing strategies, conduct interviews, and close offers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required.
• Two years of HR experience with talent acquisition is required.
• Experience executing on a variety of sourcing techniques and building relationships is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle recruitment process from opening the role to closing the offer.
• Partner with hiring leaders to understand needs and develop recruitment strategy.

Job Description

The IU Foundation, the organization that raises and stewards philanthropic support for IU, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who wants to find and hire the people who make that work possible. You'll join a close-knit, highly collaborative recruiting team within a well-resourced HR & Culture team, with real opportunities to learn, grow, and invest in your own professional development.

This is a 100% full-cycle recruiting role, and you'll own the entire hiring process from end-to-end for every search you run — from opening the role to the final offer. That means getting curious about the work and the team, partnering with hiring leaders to understand deeply what they need, building a recruitment strategy, writing compelling job postings, proactively finding and engaging candidates, guiding both candidates and hiring managers through interviews, and helping close the offer for great hires. You'll have strong tools at your fingertips, including a LinkedIn Recruiter seat complete with its Hiring Assistant tool. But your most important job will be your ability to build relationships. We're looking for someone who asks great questions, communicates exceptionally well, follows through, and approaches recruiting with a customer-service mindset.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and sound hiring practices
• Demonstrated success in cultivating, developing and enhancing professional relationships and candidate relationships
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Collaborative working style and ability to work with many stakeholders at varying levels
• Ability to appropriately articulate the mission and vision of Indiana University and the IU Foundation to attract potential candidates
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work on a variety of projects and searches simultaneously

Education & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is required
• Two years of human resources experience with experience in talent acquisition is required
• Experience executing on a variety of sourcing techniques, with strong relationship building abilities is required
• Combinations of related education and experience will be considered
