Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines in North Ridgeville, OH is seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers with recruitment, onboarding and training of qualified candidates. You will travel to multiple locations and hiring events to build a strong talent pipeline.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Recruiting Manager, sourcing candidates via social media, job boards, referrals and agencies, reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and guiding new hires through onboarding and orientation.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Previous HR/Recruiting experience is a plus.
• Experience conducting interviews is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Travel to various Service Centers, career fairs, school or club presentations, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals.
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, search agencies, etc.
• Review applications for candidates at various levels.
• Recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Interview applicants in-person and virtually; set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Follow up with candidates during the interview process.
• Advance candidates through the interview and hiring process in ATS.
• Create training schedules for new employees; assist onboarding and orientation at Service Centers.
• Train new Service Center employees.
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
