Workforce Strategies, Incorporated is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to recruit via multiple avenues, conduct phone screenings, and guide onboarding for new hires at our Grand Rapids office. The role is onsite with flexible hours and may transition to contract-to-hire based on performance.

Open to full-time and part-time candidates, this position emphasizes strong customer service, effective communication, and collaboration with front office staff and account managers.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a similar role (retail/hospitality or administrative support).
• Experience navigating challenging conversations with clients or associates.
• Ability to provide examples of effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Pattern of steady employment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct daily recruiting, including phone conversations and in-person interviews.
• Oversee onboarding, including in-house drug screenings and background checks.
• Provide coaching, encouragement, and constructive feedback to associates.
• Maintain clear, responsive communication with clients and associates.
• Foster feedback loops between associates and clients to boost performance and satisfaction.
• Meet performance metrics for phone dials and interviews.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotations as required by the branch.
• Coach, counsel, and assist working associates with questions or concerns.
• Represent WSI at job fairs and community events to attract top talent.
