Job summary

Wolverine Power Cooperative in Cadillac, MI is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to guide the employee experience from candidate sourcing through onboarding and beyond. You will recruit and hire talented employees, coordinate onboarding activities, support employee engagement initiatives, and assist with a variety of HR programs that help our people and the organization thrive.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business administration, communications, or related field.
• At least two years of hands-on recruiting experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to partner with hiring managers and support recruitment across positions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS, plus MS Office.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews, review applications, screen candidates, and schedule interviews.
• Partner with HR and managers to understand staffing needs and support hiring across the organization.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities and onboarding for new employees.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and events.
• Assist with benefits administration and HR-related inquiries.
• Maintain recruiting, onboarding, and personnel records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support HR projects, communications, reporting, and other department initiatives.
